So this is the audio from Ponytail’s set on 5.17.08 when they played at Tax Lo with Cut Copy and Black Kids. We were gonna try and sync it up with the video Guy Werner had shot, 2 cameras I think, but it just never happened. As always, Ponytail totally ruled.
Arnaud Rebotini played at a last minute Tax Lo party back in May at Metro Gallery that everyone slept on. Too bad because Rebotini flat out killed it! Originally it was just supposed to be Arnaud djing as Black Strobe and playing a live solo set under his own name (weird billing, I know), but when he showed up accompanied by Black Strobe’s guitar player, he offered to do his solo set and then a Black Strobe live performance instead of just djing. Below is the audio of the Rebotini set. He used all analog gear and it was a really cool show (even if there were only 50 people there). Enjoy…
